Our 2019 Zinfandel from Dry Creek Valley was harvested from 50 year old vines on St. George root stock. This western exposure hillside vineyard receives all the necessary afternoon sun to achieve optimal ripeness for a Dry Creek Zin.
Sweet berry aromas of raspberries and strawberries fill the glass with just a hint of cracked white pepper. The flavors on the palate are all fresh fruit with a silky mid-palate sweetness. The tannins are supple and seamless as to not hide any of the sweet berry flavors that Zin is most known for.
Our wine exemplifies what I feel Zinfandel is all about.
