Since 1997, Icaria Winery has produced award winning wines. We are located approximately 1.5 hours north of San Francisco, in Sonoma County. The fifty acre ranch has 26 acres nestled into the Asti Foothills at the northern tip of Alexander Valley. The Vineyard was one of the first in Sonoma County to plant hillside Cabernet Sauvignon. Most of the hillside vineyard sits about 400 feet above sea level where we have planted Cabernet Sauvignon (Clone 337), Merlot (Clone 3), and Malbec. We also have ten acres of Chardonnay within the deep alluvial floor of Alexander Valley. With warm days for intensity, and cool nights for acidity, our hillside fruit produces layers of complexity that are tailor-made for constructing a "food wine".
